Tips

Split: set param1 = delimiter (e.g. -), param2 = index (e.g. 1)
Split to Columns: set param1 = delimiter (e.g. ,), param2 = max columns (e.g. 5)
Replace: set param1 = old text, param2 = new text
Format date: param1 = input format, param2 = output format
Custom python: use param1 only. The variable is value. Examples:
- value.split('-')[1] → middle of 2025-597521-1
- value.strip().upper() → trim and uppercase
- len(value) → length

Extract numbers — Input Case #PA-9987 → 9987
Extract text — Input BWC: On-scene #12 → BWC On scene
Format date — Input 2025-08-12T14:30:00Z → 08/12/2025 10:30 (EST)
Upper — Input john doe → JOHN DOE
Lower — Input John DOE → john doe
Title — Input john doe → John Doe
Trim — Input ␣␣JOHN␣ → JOHN
Custom python — set param1 only:
- value.split('-')[1] → from 2025-597521-1 gets 597521
- value.strip().upper() → john doe → JOHN DOE
- value.replace('-', '') → PA-123-45 → PA12345
- len(value) → returns length as a number
